Before the advent of online movie trailers, movie promotion on the web required some extra creativity. Ulee’s Gold, starring Peter Fonda and then unknown Jessica Biel, was a heavyweight drama about a beekeeper’s family. The dynamic relationships within the movie led me to present a relationship-based storytelling experience. Viewers could choose two characters and see a visual based vignette, alluding to the tone their relationship without giving away the story. Both the film and the website were very well received.
