Acknowledged by many as the original double gutter web site, Qaswa took the hypertext web by storm. Launched in mid 1995, the visually rich site startled internet veterans and delighted the new wave of web developers. The site served as a design portal, San Francisco culture zine, and showcase for designer Ammon Haggerty’s work. Optimized for 640x480 and 256 colors in all its dithered glory.
